Gallery Categories missing after Joomla Update

After ugrading Joomla (now on latest version) and on Phoca Gallery 4.3.4) all the categories except two are missing from the Front End; sub-categories are missing from one of the two categories shown. There should be about 10 or 11 categories.

Everything appears correct (authorised, etc.) in the component backend.

I have tried re-installing Phoca Gallery and its plug ins, but to no avail.

Follow up post.
This appears to be a problem with "public permissions". If I sign in to the Front End as "Super User" everything 'missing' appears.

Solved my own problem!
Within each "missing" category, the 'Access Rights' field had got set to "All Registered Users". Once cleared, the category became visible again. Other fields - Upload Rights, Delete Rights and Owner - were left set to the User Id.
