Photo display looking for wrong thumb name

PhocaGallery version 4.4.1
I've got a folder of 15 pictures. It goes through the process of creating large, medium and small thumbnails with this name format:
phoca_thumb_l_joey_pitchers_house.jpg 440 x 457 86.99 kB
In displaying the 15 pictures, 3 won't display and this error shows in CPanel:
2021-02-18 14:53:07.174070 [INFO] [14027] [76.11.82.41:51575:HTTP2-141#APVH_merasheen.org:443] File not found [/home/merashee/public_html/images/phocagallery/Houses/thumbs/phoca_thumb_l1_joey_pitchers_house.jpg]
Note the file it's looking for has a _l1_ instead of _l_ after thumb. I've deleted and recreated but its still appending a 1 after the size.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi,
yes, _l1_ is one of several possible additional thumbnails. So you now have two options:
1.) You use views that do not require additional thumbnails.
2.) You create the required additional thumbnails.
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallerey --> Control Panel --> Options --> Thumbnails --> Thumbnail Generation Settings --> Additional Thumbnails=All
Save & Close
After that you have to recreate the thumbnails again.
