Category Owners

I have a gallery with multiple categories and subcategories. I want to be able to give different people access to upload. There will be owners with more than one category however when I try to assign owner through the backend, it gives be an error stating that selected user can only be assigned one category, what am I doing wrong, surely an owner can have more than one category

Selected users (owner) can be assigned to only one main category
User is assigned to: Ladies Natter Group

Hi David,
Please read this article to understand the different possibilities but also limitations of the two different frontend upload methods.
You use the method 'Upload images in Category view'
For those, it does not matter who owns a category. Much more crucial is what rights you give to your registered users. So you can leave the owner field empty, but you have to give at least Upload rights to the registered users who should be able to upload pictures to this category.
