Guestbook post will not publish

Because of all of the spamming that my guestbook had been experiencing, I set that all postings be reviewed before being published. A couple of day's ago, a new posted was submitted, however, I can't get it to publish.

I'll click on "Publish Item", and a message appears that it was successfully published, but it still remains unpublished.

I am using Joomla v3.7.0 and Guestbook v3.0.5.

Any thoughts?
