Count Error displaying on front-end file list pages

On pages listing files by category, I am seeing this error between the list of files and the pagination:

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/[self-censored]/secure_html/components/com_phocadownload/views/category/tmpl/default.php on line 105

I installed the latest version of Phoca Download and the error persists. I tried turning off pagination but the error remained.

PHP version: 7.2
MySQL 5.7

Thanks. It didn't seem to be breaking anything, so rather than editing code, I tweaked the warning level. It had been set to Maximum for some reason.
