Thought I configured correctly but cannot download files

I feel I configured PhocaDownload correctly but when I go to download a file, I get an error message reading:

"Error while downloading file File not found on server"

Can someone point to what I might be doing incorrectly? I assume this is a common-enough situation. What links or other resources can I use to fix this issue? Alternately, does the company have help I can buy to assist with setup? I need this running ASAP!
