Category filtering

Hi!

I have a problem when filtering categories.
Administration/components/Phocha download/files -> Filter by category -> enter category title
No results or bad results, but the category you are looking for exists.

No, I don't think this is a Joomla! error, because it doesn't exist for me:


Another tip from me out of self-interest: If you post screenshots, it is very helpful to switch your Joomla! to the default language English beforehand, because unfortunately texts in images cannot be translated with translation programs and e.g. I don't speak Hungarian. By the way, it's also just a guess that your backend is in Hungarian, which I take from your URL...

Thank you for your answer.
In JOOMLA\Administrator\Content\Articles -> Category filter works fine.
And all core Joomla category filter works (contact,news feeds,banners).
Not just in PD.

Could you help me find where the error is?

Hi,
I found a post from you dated 09.10.2023 in which you describe that you use files with spaces and special characters in the file names. This is generally not recommended. To test this, create a category with files without these characters and check whether this category is then filtered correctly.

Hi!

I have several J5 pages where there are special characters in file names and category names in PD and filtering works well there.
The strange thing is that if I type in '2021', for example, there is no '2021' in the results that appear.

I found something: I shortened the root category name from this:
"Hejőpapi Község Önkormányzatának dokumentumai"
to this
"Önkormányzat dokumentumai"
and the search worked fine.

I also put special Hungarian characters (öüóőúűáéí) in the directory name, and it works with those too. But if the root directory name is long, it doesn't.
