When I upload a file in the backend as an admin, I can easily assign certain access rights to it, for example PUBLIC.
On the currently edited website EVERYONE should be able to access all files (without login).
However, if I upload a file in the frontend as the same admin, Phocadownload automatically gives it the SPECIAL access right. And I am not offered a possibility in the frontend to switch the access right to PUBLIC.
What can be done so that only ADMINs in the frontend are allowed to upload files but that EVERYONE (without login) is allowed to download these files? I can not find this setting in the configuration.
The site has a general .htaccess protection.
Kind regards, fori
For front-end upload by Admin PUBLIC download should be possible
