Error on installing at J5.2.2: Can't find Joomla XML setup file

Hello,
I've migrated my website from Joomla 3 to 4 and now running 5.2.2 by creating a clone and perform the migration (old site still running). I didn't perform the procedure as described for Phoca Download, but thought to do that later. I'm at that point and followed the procedure, but with got 2 error messages on the installation of PD Component 5.0.10:

- JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file
- JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file
An error has occurred
Copy file failed

I looked on numerous forums, starting with the Phoca forum of course. And I tried everything I could find. In the end I've deleted all Phoca related files, including language files, and deleted all related items in the database. Tried installation by uploading zip-file, also by uploading the extracted files and installation from map (after deleting everything from the /tmp-map. No success.

I'm out of options. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

Yes, all Phoca extensions should be uninstalled if necessary:
Backend --> Extensions --> Manage --> Manage
Deleting files and tables in the database usually leaves residues which then cause problems. In your case, the phocadownload.xml was probably not deleted and perhaps the Phoca download entry is still present in the #__extensions table. All of this will be removed during the clean uninstallation.

The database was clean, but apparently there were some files I overlooked. It's working now.
