How to upgrade to version 4?
Just switched to Joomla 4. I can't find any documentation how to upgrade this component to v4. Thanks.

Kind regards,Phoca Maps Migration
See guide above, the database tables to export are:
jos_phocamaps_map
jos_phocamaps_marker
jos_phocamaps_icon
Files from following folder should be copied:

Re: How to upgrade to version 4?
Thanks, Benno, that worked!
You may want to add a crosslink on the component's documentation page so that this upgrade documentation is easier to find?
However, this now raises another question: for Phoca Gallery, I just got an update message after the J4 upgrade, and I then used the normal Joomla update process for the component instead of your description. Everything runs fine and also Joomlas DB checks do not show any errors (DB Version: 4.3.14, Manifest Version: 4.5.4). Is this OK?

Re: How to upgrade to version 4?
Hi, if it works then it is Ok. But it needs to be properly tested. Some databases can have problem with columns which changed (e.g. they were not null default and now not more, etc.) This is why the migration based on the quide is much more secure as there completely new columns with right format will be created.

Re: How to upgrade to version 4?
One more question to this topic (I red the documentation in the link you provided above).
Before I upgrade joomla from 3.x to 4.x. do I have to uninstall phocamaps component (3.0.12) for joomla 3?
And then after the joomla upgrade to joomla 4.x I have to install phocamaps component (4.0.1) for joomla 4, right?
thanks for an explanaiton.
