Hi,
I'm traying to get my site up on Bing search results and it's complaining about the home page.
Add a description to the <head> section of the page source: <meta name='description' content='Descriptive, keyword-rich text that talks about the page content goes here.'>.
Example:
<head> <meta name='description' content='Descriptive, keyword-rich text that talks about the page content goes here.'> </head>
Search engines may use the description provided in the <description> tag in the search engine results page (SERP). A well-written description that pertains to the content of the page and that is relevant to the searcher's intent can help you increase traffic since it can help improve the click-through rate of your page in search.
Is there any way to add this meta name='description'?
Thanks in advance

Re: Bing comments
Thanks,
That's how I originally did it, then Bing complained that there were too many pages with the same description.
I've had another look and the meta descriptions of the categories and products overwrite the Global Description, I hadn't realised that before, so thank you very much.
