Upload field for front-end

Hi looking for an option to display an upload field to the cart's front-end.
Say we sell printed t-Shirts, and wish to print a custom design from a file sent by the customer along with the order.
Any suggestions are very welcome, thank you.

Hi Benno, thanks for the reply.

You mean there will be 2 buttons, first to Upload and then Add to cart?
I'm not sure how this could be implemented in the ordering process, how will the uploaded file be connected with the specific order or how the admin in the back-end understands it.

I thought the easiest way is to add the possibility to create an "upload file" field in the custom fields of Phoca cart and then add it to the checkout process. But right now fields support only text, checkboxes, date, etc. but no file uploads.

Hi, yes, you are right, for now there is no upload field as attribute option. It is planned. The problem with upload fields is, it needs to include a lot of security options.

This feature is in feature request list.
