Hello,
I'm new to this forum and appreciate the effort to have the possibility to post messages regarding Phoca PDF.
I actually get an issue to make the PDF Icon to appear in the following configuration (Even if I read the configuration and install pages + modifications to adapt when the templates override the standard use, that are well documented for most of the cases).
My configuration is the following :
-->> Joomla 3.3.1
-->> Phoca PDF 3.0.2 ( phoca Pdf content enable and Phoca PDF system enabled)
-->> JAT3 Framework V3
Following the tutorial, I'm not able to locate the correct files to modify the php subsequently and have the correct behaviour (PDF icon to display)
Do you have any suggestions or idea to fix it ?
Do you need additional informations to provide help ?
Please let me know.
Regards.
FX

Hi, I don't know the JAT3 framework, but you need to locate the component which renders the article, there you need to add the icon - so if the component works with standard articles, there should not be any change, if it overrides the article output, then you need to set the icon in overwrite files of the template

Hello Jan,
Thank you for your feedback.
Jat3 framework infos are available here : joomlart.com/joomla/t3-framework-and-ja-purity-templates,
I found some informations about the structure in the developer's guide :
joomlart.com/documentation/wiki-ja-t3v2-joomla-2-5/developer-guide
I'll try to find corresponding files for email / Icon to display and modify it
In the meantime, it would be great if you could have a look and advise...
Many thx.

Hi, I think, first you need to test the component with standard Joomla! to know, there is no problem with server or other features (no conflict plugins, etc. )
Second, when it works then you need to ask the developers of framework, which specifications are different to Joomla! and standard extensions to know what to modify

Re: Joomla 3.3.1 + Jat3 framework V 3 + phoca pdf > no icon
Hello Jan,
I finally made it, due to the path of the templates files, it was quite complicated to locate it.
Thanks to the JAT3 documentation, I followed your tutorial and changed following file :
"Myjoomla3.3"\plugins\system\jat3\jat3\base-themes\default\html\com_content\article\default.php>> for the article
"Myjoomla3.3"\plugins\system\jat3\jat3\base-themes\default\html\com_content\featured.php >> for the featured
"Myjoomla3.3"\plugins\system\jat3\jat3\base-themes\default\html\com_content\blog_item.php >> for the blog_item
So now the phoca pdf feature is working.
Next step is to customize the icon to get a proper PDF icon instead of the "print" default icon.
So if you find those informations useful as the JAT3 framework is quite known, feel free to add it in the tutorial.
Thank you for your support.

Dear Jan,
I fixed the issue by locating correct files; that are in \MyjoomlaSite\plugins\system\jat3\jat3\base-themes\...
Now everything is working file except the PDF Icon.
