How to link from another server and hide link

I want link to file from another server and hide direct link from user.

Hi, sorry, I don't understand what you mean?

If you want to link to external server, there is no way to hide it somehow, you can do it on your server where the server decodes the link and check the rights but this cannot be done for external server, such needs to be set directly there

I upload the files on my server. With this condition how I protect file link from direct download? I want all downloads to be downloaded from phocadownload and user can not download by direct link.

Hi, the best method is to protect the file and its download folder behind public_html server (the right path needs to be set in Options) or protect the direct access to folder per e.g. htaccess, etc.
