Joomla 2.5 to 3.0 | Phoca Maps 2.0.6 to Phoca Maps 3.0.1

Hello

After using phoca components for many years I have to use the forum again … I think that shows how well documented and how professional the stuff from Jan is working.
Anyway I have no a big work / problem on my website I have to solve.
Currently I have a Joomla website in Version: 2.5.27
There I am using the following Phoca Components:
Phoca Download: 2.1.9
Phoca Gallery: 3.2.8
Phoca Maps: 2.0.6

Now I want to upgrade my Joomla Website the newest Joomla 3 version. This is currently Joomla 3.3.6
For this I have to upgrade my Phoca Compontents to:
Phoca Download: 3.0.6
Phoca Gallery: 4.1.2
Phoca Maps: 3.0.1

And it looks that an Upgrade from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3 together with Phoca is not so easy. I have found this Forum thread which describes how to do this for Phoca Download and Phoca Gallery. I doesn’t sound very easy but I hope that I can managed it with the description there.

The reason why I post here is that there is nobody talking about Phoca Maps. I would like to Update my website to Joomla Version 3 and using there Phoca Maps 3.0.1. And of course I want to do this without loosing my maps and Points. I am using more than 500 Maps on the website and nearly 1500 Points so I would a lot of work to do this.
Did somebody know what I have to do for the Upgrade from Phoca Maps 2.0.6 to Phoca Maps 3.0.1?

This should be similar for components 2.5 -> 3

I have finished Phoca Cart Beta now so I hope I will have time to write guide for migration 2.5 -> 3

Migration of Phoca Maps should be similar to Phoca Download and Phoca Gallery (the only one problem can be Phoca Guestbook where the database structure was changed for Joomla! 3)

thanks for your answer.

A guide for migration 2.5 -> 3 would be perfect. End of this year (2014) the support for Joomla 2.5 ends so I think there is a big need for a lot of website that they can switch from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3. Not only phoca maps, also the other components.
I would like to do the switch in my free days on Christmas there I will have the time for this ... I will be very exciting if I start the update. Lets see what Santa Claus will bring
