Help: Map short code not working

I've tried typing it in and pasting it in and neither work. All it does is show shortcode on the front end.
I'm using Joomla 3.3.6 and I've tried switching templates and that didn't help.

I tried doing it from the menu item and that seems to work, but I really need it in an article. What am I missing?

oh...I see. Plugin wasn't there.

But now it still only shows a link to a pop up. Isn't there a way to just have it show without going through the menu or needing a pop up?
