menue item shows pics of parallel categories

Hi, I am not shure whether ist is a problem of phoca or joomla 2.5..:
I defined menue items as below:
menue item Name of Level 1
menue item-----level2 (pictures of buildings)
menue item----level 2 (pictures of doors etc.)

menue Level1 (Category) is connected to a fixed php content,
menues level2 are 2 different phoca-categories linked to the matching pictures in 2 separate folders. these menue items should show a categorylist , they do this! But because of the fact, that the menue item1/category1/ has two subcategories the galery shows all categories beneath level1.
I do not find a way to tell the menue item in the level 2 just to show the pictures of the matching category.
It will be a simple solution, but I have been reading a lot of content of the forum without any success.
I would be glad to get a hint where to read more about the way out of trouble.

Hi, you need to create a menu link to Phoca Gallery - Category View and select there the ID of the category

Hi Jan, thank you for your answer, but this was what I did.
There is only the choice between the category-view or the picture-view. So I thought, it could be that I had to separate the pictures in the same hirachy that I constructed the categories. So I reorganized the folders an there are again the problems: when I click on my menueitem it triggers a screen with all the categories out of this tree of categories: on top of the menue is :
Name of my town
------Planning
---------------roads
---------------buildings

So when I click "roads" I will see all categories beneath "planning". There is no way I can alter it?
Second problem: due to hirarchy of categories (name of town/planning/roads/) in the breadcrumb-line the path will be repeated because it shows the path of the category again. That means :
you are here: Home/name of town/planning/roads/planning/roads/

sorry to bother you, but I did not find a way to stop that.

Hi, there should not be duplucity in the breadcrumbs

In Phoca Gallery - in menu link you can set the menu link to categories view or to category view - just select category view and set the category ID

Hi, this can be a menu link conflict issue - more than one menu links to gallery which then have conflicts when building the breadcrumbs or SEF.

What happen when you create only one menu link to Phoca Gallery (and the submenus will be displayed as subcategories)?

Hi Jan, you were right, it has been some sort of conflict. I altered the menue, created different menue-items, each of them linked to the category-view and it works now properly.
