I 've been using other download component for years. now i have to migrate my platform to a new version and i'm evaluating this component. may my users have favourites documents? can i choose as an admin user recommended files to see or download? Can my users have a personal area where to edit the files and store them?

Re: Favourite
Hi, what you mean with favourites documents?
You can select users which will have access to some documents or categories
Users can upload files in frontend - this is an user view - just test to create a menu link to user view on your test server
if this can fit your needs.

Re: Favourite
Hi, for now, there is no such options. The only idea is e.g. to add them to specific category and set it as first and create speicific menu link to it

Hi, yes you can, you can create e.g.
File A - which will link to a.zip
and File B - in other category which will link to same file a.zip
