prevent spamming of downloads

Greetings-- I love the extension, except I can't find a way to implement a captcha before downloading. I would like to prevent bots from accessing my pdfs.

Thank you in advance, and please advise me how to accomplish this. I am hoping to avoid implementing login access as it is not a viable solution for this particular site.
