File Order by "file name ascending"

Hi!
with V3.0.6 of Phoca Download the option for file ordering "File Name Ascending/Descending" was introduced.
I tried to use it, but so far it does not work as expected.
The other possible options take effect as soon as set, but the ordering "File Name Ascending/Descending" doesn't...

Is this new option tested already?

the strange thing is... even in the backend, the ordering does not work properly... seems to be an overall Joomla issue.
Is there a restriction for long file names?
