Phoca Tree first item goes to wrong place

I know that phoca tree uses some kind of cache. I've been clearing it to see how styling works.

But the first item I'm using in the category goes to another page. I have a different phoca tree on that page, but even if I disable it, the link goes there.

any tips??

narrowing it down... Don't think it's cache. I have a tree menu on 2 different templated pages with 2 different urls.

Now the first level items go to the wrong location from the item, but the sub categories do go to the correct location.

for instance:
page/phoca-category is where it should go, but it goes to

otherpage/phoca-category

But when you click on the sub cateogories
page/phoca-category/category/123
goes to the correct url

Also seemed to narrow down that it depends on the order in the menu manager. So "otherpage" is below "page" and the phoca tree on that page works fine. It's like Phoca Tree defaults to the lower menu alias.

any help in narrowing this down would be great.

Hi, if you want to go through the tree - the best method is to do only one menu link - best the menu link to categories view

I have a menu going to a page. So the tree won't work to drill down into the sub and sub categories and I'll have to manually make menu links for the hundreds of categories instead of using the tree?

the issue is that I'm using one url for the internal site, and the other one that is on a bare bones template that will end up going in an iframe for an intranet. it will be the same content, but different shell.

Hi, no I mean, the best way is only have one menu link to gallery (in such case, there is no problem with going through the tree as there is only one menu link - one menu itemid and the path is always the same: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla )
