Finder Pluging and Direct File Link

Hi,

I've installed Phoca Download v3.0.6 and the Finder plugin on a Joomla 3.4.1 site.

The component is configured and working perfectly with menu links giving access to category, categories and file views.

The finder plugin works fine when I select the "Category View (list of files - this is a default view)" option. However when I select the "File View" option, the search links lead to the file view page but this just reads "You have no rights to access this category".

I've created a test menu link to the same file view page and this works fine.
The breadcrumbs appear to show the correct path on the search result link to the file view page.

I can't figure out what is wrong as this doesn't work no matter what file I select or what permission I set around it (including totally open).

Is this a bug or have I misconfigured something!

Hi, hmm, when you disable sef, do you get this problem too?

tried that, purged and re indexed the smart search - no change

When you disable SEF, can you paste here the link which goes to file view (the link which is created by the finder plugin)?

With SEF on I get

With SEF off I Get
lawyersincharities.org.uk/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=file&id=3:trading-company-articles&highlight=WyJhcnRpY2xlcyJd

The direct link from the menu which works is
index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=file&id=3

Any thoughts?

Hi Jan,

It's nothing to do with SEF, I got it working.

Basically I'm an idiot and had the "Display File View" option in the "Categories and Category View" section of the options set to "no".
Set this to "yes", purge finder and re-index and it works fine
