Hi.
I'm quite new to Phoca Download and I like the clean layout! Most things are really quite easy to find, there is only one question:
Is it possible to connect a category to a specific folder? I knew it from another component but I want to use Phoca now for other advantages.
For example:
There are the categories and Folders like this:
|A
--|A1
--|A2
|B
If an autor upload a file (in frontend) in the cat A2, file is automatically uploaded to www/phocadownload/A/A2/file.pdf .
This would help a lot to keep files tidy on server...
Thanks Flo!

Re: Connect folder structure with categories?
Hi, if user uploads a file in UCP, then the file is stored in user's folder - so every user has own folder. To upload it to selected folder, this needs to be customized

Re: Connect folder structure with categories?
Hi, unfortunately I didn't do such customization yet, so I cannot give any clue advice how to customize to your needs.
UCP means - user control panel.
:: UCP - there users can upload images but they can set name for their main category and create subcategories
:: in - in category view, they can upload images, but such images will be not assigned to them but to the category they will select.
