I use joomla 3 so for the plugin there is no dutch language download possible

Hi, try to download the version for 2.5, it should be the same like for 3. If it is not up to date, it needs to be updated in ini file.

Same problem with the German translation. The language ini file is installed and the value is in the file, but it is not displayed in the correct language.

Using Joomla 3.4.1. installed the latest versions of component and plugin.

verwende die deutschen Sprachpakete für Phoca Maps Komponente und Plugin, die in meiner Signatur verlinkt sind. Damit funktioniert es auf jeden Fall. (Gerade getestet)
