I have installed the Phoca slideshow plugin. I am calling it from one of the articles on my home page.
Example:
{pgslideshow id=18|width=500|height=500|delay=3000|image=L}
In the above example, id=18, is a phoca gallery category which is restricted for user "Bob". Inother words, Bob does not have access to category id=18.
When user "Bob" logs in to my home page, he is able to see my slideshow, but he shouldn't because I have restricted him from viewing images from this phoca gallery category (id=18).
However, it seems this fuctionality is not supported by the slideshow plugin ? When I login with this restricted user id, he is able to view the slideshow, whereas, he does not have access to that Phoca gallery category which is being displayed as a slideshow. On the other hand, when I navigate from the Phoca tree menu, the restricted category is inaccessible to this restricted user as it should be. Is there a way to restrict Phoca slideshow to specific user ids only ? This restriction is possible with other Phoca plugins, but it is not working properly with the Phoca slideshow plugin.
Your feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
