Add description in Categories View?

Hi,
I would like to add the description of the single categories in the "Categories View"... Is it possibile? Since I don't use "Specific layout" I realized the "Layout Panel" is useless, aint'it? Then, most of the selection in Control Panel got no result...

Yeap! I've checked... but I would like to know wheter (sub)category description is possible... I've tried everything in the Global configuration options...

Just see the options for displaying description in categories view.

I'm embarassed but as I told before some options in Global configuration don't work. There are some options that go nowhere. For example to display just the title of the item - in Category view - I have to select Filename and Title in "Filename or Title" and the add a display:none to the filename... That's because the "Title" choice is useless....
The same happens with the "Display description" and "Display Main Category Description"... what is going wrong? Thanks...

Hi, first sorry for confusing, I thought about Phoca Gallery, not about Phoca Download.

Second - what you mean with "options don't work" - When you save the options, do you get any error there? When you save the options, and you check them, are the values you have set, selected in options? (if not, did you check the suhosin extension on your server: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... al-advices (7) )

When I save I don't get any error and options choosen are still selected... but they don't act as expected.
There is no trace of any Suhosin in my server... but I'm gonna ask.

Asked the server and they confirm there's no Suhosin patch installed...

Hmmm, and it is only one parameter or more which don't behave like they are set?
