PLG_CONTENT_PHOCAGALLERY_COMPONENT_NOT_INSTALLED

Post by Janno »

I downloaded and installed Phoca Gallery in my local Joomla website (XAMPP)
The installation was successfull.
I do see the plug-in in the extensions manager.

However, when trying to use it I do get the message:
PLG_CONTENT_PHOCAGALLERY_COMPONENT_NOT_INSTALLED

Hi,
1.) I have moved your post to the right forum.
2.) Which Joomla! version, which Phoca Gallery Component version & which Phoca Gallery Plugin version do you use?

Kind regards,
Benno

Joomla 3.4.3
mod_phoca_gallery_image_v.4.2.1
com_phoca-gallery_v2.8.1

Retried tot install the phoca_gallery_component, got the message that the php-upladsize for files was too small.
I did change (in php.ini) the post_max_size to 0 (no limit), the upload_max_files to 8M and the max_files_upload to 40

The gallery component still was not installing.

Hi,
com_phoca-gallery_v2.8.1
This is the wrong component version. You need this one: https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaGallery ... v4.2.1.zip
The gallery component still was not installing.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla
If this don't work, try to uninstall the (wrong) component via extension manager. If this also don't work, uninstall the component manually.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually

Dear Benno

Uninstalling and reinstallng was the solution, after changing the post_max_size in php.ini to 8M.

Thanks for the help. :D
