Why is the description not displayed

In my site there are two ways to see the albums: via a menu-item Phoca Gallery/category-list and via a webpage, using the plugin. When the menu-item is used (http://www.vcfs.nl/index.php?option=com ... Jaardag+20 05&Itemid=85) and a thumb-nail is selected, the descriptions are shown under the pictures. But when the webpage is selected (http://www.vcfs.nl/index.php?view=artic ... Abeeldvers lag-jaardag-2005&option=com_content&Itemid=71), the descriptions remain hidden. Why? Refering to your examples I guess I use the right code with displaydetail=1. Or am I wrong (please don't tell me)?

Stupid, of course, thanks. I printed the page a few days ago, but didn't use it.

I looked to the demo page (https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/demo/i ... ery-plugin) and the last two examples display text, but the displaydescription parameter is not used. My interpretation of the examples was that displaydetail was the parameter I had to use, not realizing that the text in the examples belonged to the webpage instead of being a description of the pictures.

Yes, there are a lot of parameters and it can be confusing, important is, it works for you...
