Link in modal window

Hello everyone I have a question that I can not solve alone.
I would like to be able to download a file from an external source through the modal window activated by the button details, but nothing happens in Firefox browser, while I Explorer displays an error message, you can open the link in a new window outside the modal window

I partially solved the probblema the failure to open the link in the modal window, because the server that use inserts the characters #! in the URL, such as https: //www.John Doe.nz/#!HIhQFKYL
You can work around the problem.
