Downloads not count if is an external link

Hi all and Merry Christmas!!!
I'am Benia, italian, sorry for my bad english!

I have a problem on my Joomla 3 with phocadownload 3.1.0! If i clik on download button in file view, if i use an external link for download, the download isn't count (by counter)... if i don't use the file view, and click on download button in category view, the download is count.

Another problem is: i have activate "blank" option on "External Download Link", but when i click on Download button i'm not teleported in new page!

How can I fix?

Hi,

in case, you are using external link, then the count will be not active as user is linked directly to external server, so the count must be done on the server.

In Phoca Download you can set "not direct link" which means, the count will be set and then the link will be redirected (so try to set this Option)

"activate "blank" option on "External Download Link" - which parameter you exactly mean?

Hi Jan,
where can i find the option "not direct link" in phoca download? In "control panel/option" i can't found it. In back-end file edit, i try to set Direct link on "NO" but the download isn't count.
For activate blank i mean in "control panel/option", the label "External Download Link".

I have resolved the count problem with licenze ceckbox... but the "blank target" on link, not work

Hi, the "download" button (in file view) runs the post form, so there is no option to open in in new window

If you mean a download button in File view, this you can find in:
