Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin issues

Hello

I am having several issues with the plugin.

This is the string I am having inside the article.
{pgslideshow id=1|width=850|height=450|delay=3000|image=O|pgslink=1|desc=allways}

1. Description is not shown
2. How can I pass in width=auto. As of now nothing is shown when I pass this in. The images do not scale in a responsive environment.
3. pgslink=1 is there a way to configure the slide show to pop up directly without having to go through the thumbnails category page
