BXslider -rapidfire load of images on 1st transition

I've installed this but when it starts at the first transition it flashes through all the images and then settles down to the expected pattern - is this normal?
(auto: true, pager: false, speed: 2500, controls: true, easing: 'easeInBounce', minSlides:5, maxSlides:5, slideWidth:250, slideMargin:5, pause:6000, randomStart:true)

Found out - tried removing the random start and that sorted it.
