Downloaded Files contain 0 bytes

Post by marile »

Recently we began experiencing an issue where the two files we had for registered user download contained 0 bytes. I tried re-uploading the files and reconfiguring the file path with no success. I have now uninstalled the component and re-installed but my installation is jacked.

The following error is being display on the front end of the website and although i understand the files are missing i do not know how to restore them:

Warning: include(/home/204793/domains/schoolhousememories.com/html/phocadownloadpap/dirs.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nfs/c11/h05/mnt/204793/domains/schoolhousememories.com/html/includes/framework.php on line 5

Warning: include(): Failed opening '/home/204793/domains/schoolhousememories.com/html/phocadownloadpap/dirs.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php-5.5.21/share/pear') in /nfs/c11/h05/mnt/204793/domains/schoolhousememories.com/html/includes/framework.php on line 5

Hi, both messages are warning and they have nothing to do with Phoca Download:

.../html/includes/framework.php

This is, I think, some of main Joomla! file, so such needs to be tested, if it exists on the server, etc

So first of all , try to check the Joomla! installation

So this file is missing:

/html/phocadownloadpap/dirs.php

Is this not part of PhocaDownload?

I reinstalled the component, created a blank file named dirs.php and added it to the phocadownloadpap directory. There errors are now gone and I was able to add the absolute path and define the files to be downloaded. All is working now…. Strange :?
