msi file upload

I tried to upload file type msi i.e test.msi. But I get the error FIle uploading failed. I tried it with the below MIME type in control panel as
(msi=application/x-ole-storage}
(msi=application/octet-stream}
{msi=text/plain}

But in vain. It does not allow. Can anybody please let me know how can I make the MSI files to be uploaded without zipping them

Nope. This is just for the MIME icon. But I am not able to upload the *.msi files. Can you please let me know how can I make or allow the msi file types to be uploaded.

Hi karjol,

as msi file is an installation program, I think you hv to zip them before loading.
