Request - Phoca Maps categorization for markers

I just wanted to make a suggestion for Phoca Maps that would make it even more excellent It would really help if it was possible to categorize the map markers, especially when you have many markers (like I do).

I have another idea (hope that's okay!). To be able to add a marker to more than one map. I have two kinds of maps, one is a map for each location, and another is a map for all locations. The way it is now, I have to create a marker for each map, so it would be great if I could assign the same marker to two different maps

Hi, added to feature request list. This feature is a little bit complicated. It dramatically changes the database structure and cause slowing down of running the extension. When there is relationship between map: one map can have more markers, database handling is very easy, but when there is maps can have different markers and markers can be set in different maps, then the database handling gets complicated sql queries which then cause not simple and fast running of the extensions. This feature is still under review, really hard to decide if making the running of program more complicated should be the right way

Thanks Jan, I can see what you mean. Perhaps it's not the best idea
