Strange reactions with xampp

Hello,

I am using p download locally on my machine. My webpage is nearly finished-only purpose ability to download files is missing.

When I tried to build categories or to enter files to download, clicking on one of the top buttons "save and close" e.g. doesn't affect anything. What can I do about its? (Please be patient, I I am beginner)

Hi, hmm, this seems more like javascript error than something on the server or xampp. Try to check, when you click on the buttons, what happens in javascript console, maybe there will be some error

I think I found the solution! It wasn't anything with Java or so, but I had to to switch off this second gallery plug-in. By the way: do you know a good step by step documentation (possibly in German). The ones I found were explaining special issues only. But what I need is a quake explanation on the basic functionality which means for example how to insert documents to download?
