Phoca Download Link Not Working

I have recently upgraded to j 3.5.1 and since then the phocadownload link does not work. Click on the link and it goes to homepage, but in the downloads admin it registers a download.

I have checked the plug-in and it is enabled, I have the latest version - can anyone give me a clue as to why this is happening.

When I set direct link to NO - i get the download page, with an error message - BUT I can still download the pdf.......... what could possibly be causing this............... is it a server setting? It worked before I moved servers, but I did not change anything on the phocadownload

Thank you, this is not really any help. I can upload the file and everything was working perfectly until i moved servers, but i cannot work out what would have affected the plug in this way.

As mentioned above it now works if i uncheck direct download but with an error message at the top of the page. very weird

If anyone anyone has an idea on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it or I will have to uninstall phoca.

Hi, try to update to the latest version. (Phoca Download 3.1.2)

Try to disable SEF (for testing only), do you still get the error?

Is the file - accessible, authorized?

file is accessible and authorised
3.1.2 installed component and plug in
all caching off

it worked perfectly on a different server.... but since moving to siteground this has stopped and now it won't even work with the error message.

this is amazingly difficult.... what could possibly be causing the problem

Hi, hmmm, I really cannot say, for now I don't have any clue advice about some php or server setting which can influence it
