IP banned from work but not home. Dont know why!

Hi,

For some very weird reason my IP at the office has been banned on this forum and I am unable to access to the forums. I sent an email to the forum admin as per the instructions on the banned notice but have not heard anything back as yet.

Please can someone sort this out?? It is quite frustrating and I have NO idea why my IP was banned.

Hi, external services are used for protecting the site. Are you banned only on this forum or on other phoca site?

Only the forum. This only happens if I connect from the office. I am not at the office right now so am unable to give you my IP. I will be able to provide the IP on monday. Thanks for replying. I am unable to respond in PM because I'm new.

Hmm, the external protection for this site is used for whole site, so for now I really cannot way what can be wrong there. Yes, will be great, if you test it so you can send me screenshots.

My friend complains that he got banned not for that, he thought. He regularly uses a proxy (advanced.name/ru), for both work and gaming. Could this be the reason for the ban?
