Syntax error deleting a map

Hi Jan

I am having trouble unpublishing or deleting a map. I get this syntax error

Code: Select all

 0 syntax error, unexpected 'getModel' (T_STRING), expecting function (T_FUNCTION)

I am running Joomla 3.5 and PHP 7

any suggestions?

Hi, which version of Phoca Maps you are using?
Can you paste a complete error message here (include the file and row of the problem)

PhocaMaps Version 3.0.3.
This is the compete error message

Code: Select all

An error has occurred.
 0 syntax error, unexpected 'getModel' (T_STRING), expecting function (T_FUNCTION)
 Return to Control Panel

and this is the error in FirePHP

Code: Select all

"NetworkError: 500 syntax error, unexpe...g function (T_FUNCTION) - http://www.xxxxxx.xxxxxx.org.au/administrator/index.php?option=com_phocamaps&view=phocamapsmaps"

I can't find any reference to the offending file or line number. I can arrange access to the site for you if that helps.

Hi, seems like I found the problem:

Try to download this file:
https://www.phoca.cz/forumfiles/phocamapsmaps.zip

and unzip it to folder:
administrator/components/com_phocamaps/controllers/

It should overwrite the file: phocamapsmaps.php After overwriting it should be OK. Please let me know, so I can add it to next version.

please, update to the latest version (3.0.4): https://www.phoca.cz/news/890-phoca-maps-3-0-4-released
