Hi,
I am not sure but probably you have installed the wrong language pack. Use this one: https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaGuestbo ... ok.j25.zip

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi Benno. Thank you for the reply.
So there is two russian components can be downloaded. Incidentally, why is there two but not one?

Is it mean that there is no russian translation for third version?
All this is really confusing.

Hi,
see the details of the files:
ru-RU.com_phocaguestbook.zip
is dated to 01. December 2010 and therefore it must be, and of course it is, a Joomla! 1.5 translation. Joomla! 1.5 strings have had a different syntax to joomla! v1.6, 1.7. 2.5. 3.5 strings.(Double quotes must be at the beginning and at the end of the right part of the string) Therefore Joomla! 1.5 translations will not work with Joomla! 1.6, 1.7. 2.5. 3.5

ru-RU.com_phocaguestbook.j25.zip
is dated to 12 May 2012 and is made for Joomla! 2.5 This means, it will also work with the current Joomla! version, but not all strings will be translated. You can do it by your own, if you need/like.

Kind regards,
Benno
