verifying IP from download

Hi,

I wonder, if it is possible to add a new feature in Phoca download and perhaps other message informaions.
If someone downloads a file in PD, the superuser will receive a message, that tells, someone (anonymous) has downloaded one file.
The message shows date and time, as well as the ip adress.

I use copy and paste into "http://ip-lookup.net/index.php" to see some more informations about this user.
In admintools I have a link in my message so I can proof without copy and paste. It makes it easy.

I think/hope, that this add on won't be a big work to add?

Hi, in Phoca Download there are two options which can somehow be customized for this

- send email - when downloading a file, an email can be send - this can be customized so the IP will be added to the email text
- download stats - in administration you can see download stats - but when anonymous download is is set as guest - so this needs to be customized so every download by public will be not stored as guest but e.g. by IP

Added to the feature request list but storing of items of all downloads, e.g. set by IPs, can cause memory problems. I will take a look at it.
