Post by PJrN »

Good Afternoon,

I was looking how to fix languaje error but I don't found any answer.

I have Phoca Maps on English Languaje but I have Joomla in spanish installed, I have de 2 .ini documents on Administrator/languajes and languajes translated to spanish.

Why is taking english all the time?

Hi,
You have not mentioned which Joomla! version you are using.
If you don't use Joomla! v1.5 this is the right version for you: https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaMaps/re ... ps.j30.zip

Kind regards,

Hi,
do you use Phoca Maps Plugin inside an article?
If yes, you also need this Plugin language file: https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaMapsPlu ... ps.j17.zip

Hi, did you check the translation files - the ini files, if they are complete and updated?

Yes I have:

Thi is language/es-ES/es-ES.com_phocamaps

COM_PHOCAMAPS_FROM_ADDRESS="Desde "
COM_PHOCAMAPS_GET_ROUTE="Calcular Ruta"

administrator/language/es-ES

COM_PHOCAMAPS_FROM_ADDRESS="Desde "
COM_PHOCAMAPS_GET_ROUTE="Calcular Ruta"

Why is not getting the parameter?

Hi,
Why is not getting the parameter?
because this is the language file for Phoca Maps Component (Thi is language/es-ES/es-ES.com_phocamaps). But you use the Map inside an article with help of Phoca Maps Plugin. Therefore you need to use the translation of Phoca Maps Plugin language file.
See post #4

Kind regards,
Benno
