Hi all,

I receive this message when I open the voice "Categories" of Phoca Download. The website has Joomla! 2.5.28 and the component Phoca Download 2.1.9.

I have already read the post https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... al-advices without success because the message appears only when I click on "Components" -> "Phoca Download" -> "Categories". I also tried the following things:

- disabled Joomla! cache
- disabled "Page Cache" plugin
- disabled "sef rewrite"
- changed PHP version from 5.5 to 5.6
- increased the "memory_limit" up to 256 MB
- reinstalled Phoca Download

but...the problem remains. Do you have any ideas? Thank you in advance

Hi, how many categories do you have in Phoca Download? This is a memory issue so e.g. the server is not able to build tree of categories (e.g. this can happen when you e.g. have over 1000 categories and there is not so much memory on your server for running scripts)

Memory limit of 256 MB should be OK

Hi Jan,

thank you for your reply. In Phoca Download I only have 7 categories and I also tried to modify the memory_limit up to 256 MB but..without success. I'll try with a restore of the database.

Hi, hmmm, when only 7 categories, there can be problem somewhere on other place, try to disable different system plugins, if there is no problem in system plugins

Hi,

in addition: check whether or not you have installed: JV Counter. In several threads (another forum) I read very often, that there were big space problems concerning above response in conjuncture with this extension.
