I'm trying to get the slideshow plugin to display a simple slideshow in an article and it will only show the syntax and I've typed it in myself a number of times. First just the "{" then all of it. Still the same it only shows the syntax. The Component seems to be installed just fine, I created a catagory, uploaded a number of images, they show up...
here is the site: http://www.bluemountainhealingarts.com
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Mickey

Hi,
have you downloaded, installed and enabled the Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin?

Re: Only see syntax...
Hey Carolien,
No, that slideshow is in a separate module using frontpage slideshow. I want to take those images (that are also in a separate Phoca folder) and move it up into the content of the article above it using the phoca plugin. I took the syntax out of the place I had it, for obvious reasons, but I want the slideshow to show up in the place of the existing still photo.
Thanks for the help!
Mickey

Re: Only see syntax...
The only reasons why it doesn't work can be
- the plugin is not installed. Note that the slideshow plugin is something else than the phocagallery plugin
- the plugin is not enabled
- the '{' are copied from this site, thus being images, instead of typed
- the code isn't used in an article
have you tried out whether other plugins work?
Regards, Carolien
P.S. if you call an category which doesn't exist you're supposed to see nothing, so that's not it.

Re: Only see syntax...
Carolien,
Thanks so much for the help. I went and checked all of your suggestions and they were all ok, so out of desparation, I reinstalled the plugin and then it worked (first showed a blank white window for awhile until I repasted the script in for the 3rd time... go figure).
Anyway, now it works well.
Thanks again!
