upload and mysql insert in a script

Hi,

I would like to use Phoca Gallery Random Image Module, but I have a lot of pics, approx 20000.
I 'd like to resize them and insert the needed info in the database quickly.Then I did it with a shell script but I had problems, thumbnails don't seem to be ok.
I did some "/usr/bin/convert -size -resize...", some "INSERT INTO jos_phocagallery..." but it doesn't work.

in the Phoca Gallery Random Image Module the pic loaded is the original but in small. The thumbnails I did don't seem to be "seen" by the module.

Can you help me please?
