Hi, on your site, there are more javascript errors which can somehow prevent from displaying the map.

But I see the problem of loading the google maps api script in header, which is wrong.

So first of all, try to download the latest version of Phoca Maps component and plugin (even it is the same version, try to update them)

Second try to check the javascript errors on your site:

Hi, did you try to download the latest files and install them on your site (even there is the same version, just install them to overwrite the old one)

Hallo I have the same problem that my Phoca Maps is not working - with same error displayed.
doverparts.co.za/contact/map-to-dover-parts.html

Joomla 3.6
Latest version of component and plugin for Phoca Maps

I have followed the details on creating the API key and submitted it into configuration page. The map loaded but I could not get directions from my location to destination. Went to Google again and verified website as I had to assign website to make API secure.

Since I have done this the maps isn't working at all and gives me the error message:
"Sorry! Something went wrong.
This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details."

Please any assistance will be great to solve the issue?

Hallo,

I really don't understand this. I am truly baffled... I have been playing around on the Google API manager and have seen the following:

1. You have to confirm that you are the owner of the site
2. Go through all the procedures of confirming website and loading site map etc. in Google webmaster console
3. After this the API should be secure that no else should be able to use it and your maps should be working
4. To ensure the API key doesn't get hijacked or used by someone else and thus giving you a bill to pay because of traffic that was used on the key you can go and assign "Accept requests from these HTTP referrers (web sites) (Optional)" to ensure you get maximum protection that no one can use your API
5. Make sure you enter the address in correctly, without http://www and that you have asterisks * in place when you do this
for example not xxx_yyy.com/123 but *xxx_yyy.com/123* - you can enter any address as long it is the way you see it in your browser
6. Give it a minute or two to be registered after you have saved your options - it's not instant on saving

Well this is what I discovered and it worked for me. I hope any one reading this finds the same joy!
