Categories view vs category view

Hi,

Is it possible to use different image size for categories and category view, for instance I would like to use medium for categories and large for category view.

Also I would like to use responsive for category view but not for categories view, is there a way to achieve that ?

And another question, the demo for Joomla 3 shows mosaic well filling the space, I can't achieve that, I go lot of holes and weird result and if activate responsive, the images often overlap the space.

Problem solved.
I didn't noticed the fact that we could choose different thumb size for the galleries view.
And to solve the holes problem mentioned I juste activated the crop during generation.
