Phoca Download Search Plugin doesn't work

Hi,
I use Phoca Download vers. 3.1.2, Joomla 3.6.4 and the latest version of Phoca Download Search Plugin.
I have a problem with Phoca Download Search Plugin.
If I set the configuration link = "file view", the search produces an error "You do not have rights to access this category", whereas if I open the document directly from the page, without a search, I access to the document. Is there a solution?

Hi, go to:
Administration - Phoca Download - Options - Display (Categories and Category View) and set the parameter Enable File View to: Yes

If you want to display file view of searched document, it needs to be enabled in the component as file view is a part of the component.

The trouble is this means every phoca download link on the site now gos to an unnecessary page rather than a direct download.
I would prefer to fix the search results so they download directly is this possible?

Hi, then just disable the file view in component and don't use it in search plugin (enable category view in search plugin instead of file view)

But if I use category view won't it just show the list of files matching the category not the actual file found in the search?

It displays the searched file in the category view (so yes including all other files in the category). It just displays the link to the category where the file is stored.
