Closing the marker windows

Hello,
I would like to have the marker windows closed when you click outside of them, so that :
- only one window could be displayed at a time
- you don't have to click on [x] to close the current window.
Is it possible?
Did I miss something?

Hi, you can set in options that if you open one marker the opened will be automatically closed. But not sure if there is a way in Google Maps API to close the marker when clicking on the map
