Api key Phocamaps 1.1.2 Joomla 1.5.26

I have an old joomla 1.5.26 site with phocamaps 1.1.2, which I can not migrate to the latest version of joomla.

Now that Google has decided that a valid API must be used to use Google Maps the map is no longer visible.

Since the version of phocamaps 1.1.2 does not allow you to enter any key bees into the parameters,
I tried installing the 1.0.5 version, but this from the white page.

Now I ask you experts there is a way to manually insert the bee keys that I generated directly in component code to display the map?

Are there any other solutions?

As mentioned I can not update migrate this version of joomla.

Hi, it is not so easy as it seems. It is not about the form field API (like you add one form field API and everything will work). A lot of code changed to work with newest Google Maps API, the version 1.x is almost 6 years old version and a lot of code was changed there.

So the solution:
- is updating to latest Joomla!
- and when it is not possible, then the old version needs to be compared step by step with the newest and all the functions which work with the API must be updated (but this can be very difficult work)

Thanks for the answer, and how I imagined it is very complicated.

True 1.1.2 is over 6 years old but still in the phocamaps component download area, maybe it would be better to delete or write it does not work.
